Steve Schellong

Mr. Schellong has over twenty years of experience building high-performing teams and leading companies through critical stages of growth ranging from Fortune 50 tech industry leaders to early-stage biotechnology companies. He brings twenty years of leadership experience at Microbion and deep expertise with the Company’s new class of therapeutic drugs and proprietary bismuth-thiol technology. He was a founding member of Microbion’s Board of Directors where he served for ten years. Most recently, he has led corporate and business development for the Company, where he raised over $15 million in equity financing, expanded the pipeline of strategic licensing opportunities, and helped shape company strategy.

Over a 16-year career at Microsoft, Mr. Schellong held multiple senior leadership roles across sales and business development. In his last role, he led the National Licensing Sales team for Microsoft’s $5 billion U.S. Corporate Accounts business. He has founded and successfully exited several valuable startups, and advised many others. He graduated cum laude from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics.
